Photo Art Friday, week 2
Last weekend Hurricane Katia passed by Nova Scotia. It was far enough off shore that we had a beautiful sunny day with lots of huge waves. Many surfing enthusiasts grabbed their surfboards and headed to the beach. I initially used a crosshatch filter, but took it off; I think I may have sharpened and perhaps bumped up the contrast, if I recall right - did this earlier in the week.
This photo was taken the same day. The couple on the beach are watching the surfers waiting to catch the next promising wave(s). I did use a PS warming filter to make it appear as if this was taken later in the day.

The warming filter does add a lovely soft glow to your photograph. Thank you for sharing it with Photo Art Friday!
Great photos. I bet the beaches were gorgeous during this crazy weather.
So jealous that you were at the beach and I wasn't...
Wonderful photo's though. The couple on the beach look so romantic.
Great surfer scene with crashing waves!
Love the couple on the beach capture. The glow is wonderful! Saw you on Pixel Dust Photo Art.
Cheers!
