Photo Art Friday, week 2

Last weekend Hurricane Katia passed by Nova Scotia.  It was far enough off shore that we had a beautiful sunny day with lots of huge waves.  Many surfing enthusiasts grabbed their surfboards and headed to the beach.  I initially used a crosshatch filter, but took it off; I think I may have sharpened and perhaps bumped up the contrast, if I recall right - did this earlier in the week.

This photo was taken the same day.  The couple on the beach are watching the surfers waiting to catch the next promising wave(s).  I did use a PS warming filter to make it appear as if this was taken later in the day.

So jealous that you were at the beach and I wasn't...
